Walk-in IRS Help
The IRS Tax Assistance Center that directly services the 15th Congressional District is located at 55 W. 125th St. It is open Monday, Tuesday & Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and through April 10, open Wednesdays and Thursdays to 5 p.m.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Sites
The Internal Revenue Service each year partners with non-profits nationwide to free to low cost tax preparation services. At these Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites, tax returns will be prepared for free for families (with dependents) who make less than $40,000, or individuals earning less than $20,000. Some VITA sites will also help residents file for other state and city tax credits.
